Er...hello.

I'm still alive! Barely. :) Holy cow, it's been three months.

So...not much has been going on. I am 23 now. Jesus, I'm getting old. My birthday was marked by extreme drunkenness. Massive thank yous and apologies to Michelle, Amelia, Theresa, Evan, Chiung, and Josh for dealing with my drunk ass. Oh lord, I feel sort of nauseated just remembering the hangover the next morning. Thanks, Theresa Vu, better known as Satan. Okay, okay, so she didn't force the alcohol down my throat, but that girl's got a way about her...any alcohol lying around nearby is not safe. Neither are any old elementary school friends.

For Theresa's birthday this April, I really wanted to get her an orange hypercolor shirt, reminiscent of her ultracool shirt we all envied back in Mission Valley Elementary, but alas, it is no longer the 80s. My extremely thoughtful gift intention was foiled! But I'll be around to make sure Theresa is at least as messed up as I was. This may take significantly more alcohol than I guzzled, but it will be done. And I'll also have time-stamped pictures to prove it.

After my birthday, my Spring Break trip down to San Diego and LA was lovely except for a couple of mishaps - namely TWO PARKING TICKETS ON THE SAME MORNING. F-ing handicapped curbside parking in a residential area...wtf is that? Stupid paint was peeling off the curb anyway. And it just happened to be the one morning of street cleaning when I was parked there. But did the second parking policeman have mercy on me once they saw I was already fined? NO. Bitter, bitter police produce a bitter, bitter Christina. Fortunately, Yeung is very good at curing my poopy moods. The non-depressing times down in SoCal were mostly spent cooking and eating and watching Futurama, Family Guy, and CSI. Good times. :)

And let's not forget the momentous event that was probably the closest I'll ever get to a religious experience: the U2 Vertigo concert at HP Pavilion!!! Yes, that seriously deserved three exclamation points. Thanks to David for getting me the ticket! U2 was amazing. Two straight hours of Bono and The Edge and Adam and Larry. Here's a picture of my badass concert T-shirt. How cool is Bono with the cowboy hat? And ending with each band member exiting while playing "40" as the whole arena sings...spine-tingling in a such a good way.

I can't think of much else to say. Not writing in here sort of dries up my blogging brain. I used to wander through life, waiting for random accidents and thoughts to befall/occur to me so I could think, "Ooh, I should blog about this!" So either I developed a life or my life has become so utterly pedestrian that I can no longer blog as I used to. Yes, my legions of internet readers are grieving. Hahaha. Whenever I imagine "legions" of people, I picture men in armor riding into the Crusades and shit. I bet men like that wouldn't really enjoy my blog. I bet they also smelled. So I'm back to nothing. Oh well.

I promise to redevelop my blogginess. It's good to write, even if it's mostly nonsensical. Must keep my English and grammar above the fifth grade level if I want to keep tutoring. I made my fifth grade tutee write me a summary of the myth of Tantalus when she didn't know the definition of "tantalizing" - hey, she'll never forget that word anymore! God, I'm such a geek. Am embracing it.

As a reward for getting down here, photos will follow, you picture whores.

Edit: Did you know that if you mistakenly transpose the s and p in blogspot [meaning blogpsot, for those of you who are too lazy to figure it out on your own], you get directed to this page full of popups that tries to convert you to Christianity? Stunning sneak-attack strategery! Yeah, I'm lame. Shut up.
