another fun weekend. =)

friday night was a big macaroni grill dinner organized by the wonderful anthony. yay! we had a buttload of people there. after dinner we did the customary loiter-in-front-of-the-restaurant-trying-to-figure-out-what-to-do. we were supposed to go karaoke eventually but i had -$1 in my wallet. [reminder to self: pay back alex] i ended up going back a wee bit earlier and got pearl tea with alex and jason and their people. =)

saturday i took brandon to see the crocodile hunter movie. um...all i can say is that i enjoyed it more than "master of disguise." you decide what the actual value is. i have become a children's movie expert recently. later that night i saw the clint eastwood movie, "bloodwork", with another alex after critiquing various milpitas pearl tea drinks. all i can say is love scenes with a 70-something-year-old man should not be accompanied by really cheesy guitar music. *shudder* i did not really need to see clint eastwood shirtless at his current age. but uhh...fairly good mystery/crime movie overall i suppose. even though i guessed who the serial killer was before the movie was half over =P still suspenseful for me. i guess i don't do well with serial killer movies in general. "signs" was still freakier of course.

today was park party part deux! so fun =) regressed back to childhood, grilled a lot of meat, talked with so many friends i haven't seen in ages, played with a lot of balls...;-) you know what i mean. i did a lot of running around. it was nice to get some normal exercise--except for the stewing in buckets of sweat part. SO HOT. ew. i hate getting dirty. geez, i'm such a priss sometimes. haha.

guy names tend to be too common. i know way too many dave/davids, alexes, michaels, and jeffreys.
