did it again. doh.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JASON! 22 isn't that old. i'll still love you, guhguh =) have a good one or i'll kick your ass when i actually see you someday.

busy weekend though. bye to jo again. we'll miss you so much. =( congrats to kappa class - you girls earned it. welcome to our house! thanks to david and anthony for coming all the way down for screw your roommate. enjoy the stanford ghettoness? good stuff.

went up to berkeley for presents today. chilled with mike and howard. boo to deb and anthony for still being at home! but the boys were kind enough to accompany me in getting tea and letting me bum. drifted in and out of sleep and watching the nba allstar game. at least i was awake for overtime. =) i'm mad at kobe for taking away michael jordan's potential game-winning fadeaway shot. boo again.

driving to and from berkeley allowed me quality time with the radio, my own voice, and my thoughts. screw people who see me and think i'm talking to myself--i'm going to sing anyway! i like beck's new song. very melancholy, but better than his funky stuff.

while in the car, i also worked out a very deep analogy to my lovelife. it involves tissue and handkerchiefs. ask me nicely and i might tell you about it.

it's all pointless. oh well. what is it about the ones who won't fall?

great lines from an aya de leon poem [I hate this poem]: "Am I bitter? / No, I am tasting something bitter and describing it to you"

"Lost Cause" ~Beck

your sorry eyes cut through the bone
they make it hard to leave you alone
leave you here wearing your wounds
waving your guns at somebody new

baby, you're lost
baby, you're lost
baby, you're a lost cause

there's too many people you used to know
they see you coming, they see you go
they know your secrets and you know theirs
this town is crazy; nobody cares

baby, you're lost
baby, you're lost
baby, you're a lost cause

i'm tired of fighting
i'm tired of fighting
fighting for a lost cause

there's a place where you are going
you ain't never been before
no one left to watch your back now
no one standing at your door
that's what you thought love was for

baby, you're lost
baby, you're lost
baby, you're a lost cause

i'm tired of fighting
i'm tired of fighting
fighting for a lost cause
