spent friday night up at berkeley after a last-minute decision. good decision =) ABA charity fashion show was entertaining--made me wish i had gone last year to see howard in his pink shirt. haha. can't wait for this year's AASA fashion show either...that's gonna kick ass. anyway, partied a little, met people, ran into jeff kim! so random. stanford holding it down. ;-) thanks for everything, jason~

went home but brandon's soccer game was canceled anyway. ooh discovered great method to keep a nagging aunt off your back for a couple minutes: compliment her cooking and do the dishes. yes, pure genius!

it was sad going home and not having my mom there =\

all that driving this weekend allowed me to catch up on current music~ that new santana song featuring michelle branch ("game of love") is pretty good! i like for now. and guess what! dishwalla has a new single, "angels or devils"! haha i thought they died. well, you know, figuratively as a band. it's a pretty good rock ballad sort of thing...i can see them getting big again. we'll see. i always feel bad for one-hit wonders.

time to study for my veteran's day midterm. one of the major problems with attending a private university is that they don't like to observe all the national holidays >=|

i went home this weekend even though davis was a bust. alex came to visit bea and me though, and kindly provided a ride back to fremont. it was nice seeing everyone =) i still suck at pool. and yet another happy birthday to jo!
