Weekends full of...alcohol
Been going out a lot lately. Also been drinking um...a fair amount lately. Isn't it sad that the older we become, the more dependent our good times are on alcohol? That was awkwardly phrased, but maybe you get the idea. I could have said, "the older we become, the more dependent we are on alcohol," but that would have smacked a bit too much of alcholism. Okay, it would have smacked completely of alcoholism. Don't worry about me though...just working on my tolerance ;) Unlike a certain someone who had a bowl of cereal and two beers for dinner tonight.
Anyhow, this summer has been wedding-iferous. Of course, Christina Chen and Victor got hitched, my family friend recently married at the Half Moon Bay Ritz Carlton (whoooeee!), and I have another wedding to attend next weekend. Crazy! But I do love attending weddings now that I'm a bit older, appreciate food more, actually know the bride and/or groom, and can consume alcohol. Hurrah! The lack of screeching karaoke at these weddings has also been a plus.
Here's a heartwarming wedding cake story for you: Ugly Cake Story from www.uglydress.com. Don't forget to click on the thumbnail photo after you've read the story ;)
Besides weddings, there have also been many birthdays. Happy Birthday, Jen! Life in Fremont would be so depressing without our Half Price excursions, attempts at going to the gym, GBEs, shared literary aspirations, and mutual gluttony. Oh, and you're the worst shopping partner ever. Or best. Depends on how guilty I'm feeling at the moment. :) Love you, Jen-butt!

Let it run its course.
Although this approach feels suspiciously like limbo.
Yes, it's the return of the ambiguous statements. :) It's been quite a hiatus.
